Brand new from CLPT is an InGaAs linear sensor with 512 x 1 pixels and 25 µm pixel pitch with pixel heights of 250 and 500 µm. The sensor will be introduced to the market at VISION 2022. The sensor is sensitive in the standard InGaAs spectral range of 0.9 – 1.7 µm or extended wavelength range of 1.2 –2.2 μm. All types exhibit low dark current and high quantum efficiency with a pixel operability >99%. The photodiode arrays are hybridized with a SPI interface CMOS readout integrated circuit (ROIC). With its 2 outputs, the sensor achieves a pixel rate of 22 MHz. The sensor comes in a 28-lead Kovar metal DIP package with an integrated 1 or 2-stage thermoelectric cooler, for a chip operating temperature of -20°C (higher and lower T also possible).
Other key applications include NIR spectroscopy, agricultural sorting, optical coherence tomography (OCT), NIR scanners, semiconductor inspection and process monitoring.
