The SPECTRAL Industries' IRIS Echelle Spectrometer is ideal for Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy research and applications. It was developed during the R&D phase of the European Space Agency ExoMars Mission and is now commercially available for use here on Earth. Its space-grade, robust design enables it to be used under a variety of conditions such as high and low temperatures, and in locations ranging from out in the field, to deep in a mine, to inside the factory. The IRIS offers higher bandwidth, resolution, and signal-to-noise ratio than many of its competitors. It is also extremely efficient, providing lower detection limits and shorter integration times. The IRIS can combine Raman and LIBS functionality, allowing you to get information on a sample’s molecular and elemental properties.
