A new MicroPL Upgrade from Edinburgh Instruments enables the study of spectral or time-resolved photoluminescence of samples in the microscopic scale. Using a microscope, a pulsed laser and an XYZ stage, FLIM maps are easily acquired and analysed in the Fluoracle software. A range of analysis and display options are available including intensity, average lifetime, surface topography or 3D maps.
