Miniature Linear Stages

PI’s Miniature Linear Stage families provide high performance in a small package. Several drive and guiding technologies are available, each optimized for specific applications including industrial test & measurement, optical and optomechanical alignment, biotechnology, component assembly and vision applications. Drive systems include 3-phase linear motors, voice coils, piezo motors, stepper motors, and brushless DC motors (BLDC).

Precision Guiding Systems
Guiding systems include Cross Rollers, Ball Bearings, Air Bearings and Flexures.

High Resolution Position Sensors
High accuracy linear encoders provide resolution down the sub-nanometer range. Direct metrology rotary encoders are available for rotary stages.
