These sources offer an operating life often in excess of 4000 hours.The VUV sources are sealed RF excited sources with a window in an EMI shielded enclosure that mounts to a 2.75 inch or larger CF type flange. The source assembly has an integral RF exciter which is powered by a small wall plug power supply.

We offer two bodies for our sources, the standard tubular assembly and our re-entrant assembly which offers a higher intensity and flexibility in body length. Our electrodeless VUV Sources are available with a variety of gas fills to provide various spectral lines, including Krypton, Xenon, Argon, Deuterium and more. Resonance sources have been used in a wide variety of applications and industries. Our sources are used on both the Hubble Telescope and on the International Space Station.

Other applications include, materials testing, calibration, characterizing detectors in the VUV, solar simulation, UV disinfection, UV/VUV Photochemistry, semiconductor Atom measurements, measuring plasma in fusion chambers, and many more.
