Theodor Krantz Joins SemiNex Board

Dec 2015PEABODY, Mass., Dec. 11, 2015 — SemiNex Corp. has appointed K. Theodor "Ted" Krantz to its board of directors.

"Ted brings impressive business acumen with him, and that, combined with his proven track record in business, make him a perfect fit for our board of directors," said SemiNex President and CEO David Bean.

Krantz is the former CEO of Velcro Industries NV. He currently serves as the part-time vice president of finance at Airmar Technology Corp. and was its president from 2000 to 2011. Krantz spent 10 years at Certainteed Corp., where he held various positions including vice president of operations and assistant corporate controller. He was vice president of finance for the fiberglass reinforcements group at Saint-Gobain SA and president and CEO of Velcro USA.

 

Krantz received a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University. 

SemiNex designs and manufactures high-power semiconductor lasers for use in military, medical, and industrial applications.
