Sydor Optics can fabricate and manufacture custom IR, UV, and visible windows in a variety of custom sizes, shapes, and substrates based on decades of experience in medical, defense, industrial and scientific fields.

Sydor houses the largest collection of double-sided grinding and polishing machines in North America for:
   •  High-volume production or highly unique limited quantity
   •  Exceptional parallelism and transmitted wavefront
   •  Diameter up to 650 mm
   •  Thickness up to 100 mm

Our large format machines can hold tight tolerances for custom window applications ranging from 300 mm to 650 mm in diameter using NBK7, fused silica, Silicon, Germanium, Zinc Sulfide (Cleartran^®), and Zinc Selenide.More products
