Compact Alignment Turning Station

Trioptics ATS 100Like all alignment turning stations developed by TRIOPTICS the ATS 100 is a combination of a compact and stable turning machine and TRIOPTICS‘ proven lens centering measurement technology. The ATS product series are high precision devices for centration measurement, alignment and machining of mounted lenses. The ATS devices are used to machine lens cells so that the symmetry axis of the cell coincides with the optical axis of the lens assembled in the cell. The ATS 100 with the vertical set-up and the 2 axes roller bearing design with aerostatic spindle is well suited for the manufacturing of small lenses, with a diameter up to 100 mm and a weight of up to 3 kg.

The automated plano-calotte alignment chuck offers high precision and repeatability. With this alignment chuck the remaining lens centering error after machining is better 3 µm. With the Multilens Measurement even complex lens systems are manufactured easily. The combination of the measurement software and the processing software improves the user-friendliness. This results in a particularly short training period for the user.

With the compact mineral caste frame the ATS 100 requires little space and provides easy handling. The base area is only 1 by m, the height is at 2m. While set-up the ATS 100 needs only air and power supply, but no additional calibration.
