May 2023WATERLOO, Ontario, May 22, 2023 — A shutterless version of the MicroCalibir^™ LWIR compact camera platform from Teledyne DALSA integrates 12-μm microbolometer pixel technology with a deep analog-to-digital converter readout integrated circuit.

The design results in a 1000 °C intra-scene temperature range at a <-40 mK noise equivalent temperature difference. It provides uninterrupted image acquisition without acoustic noise or possibility of shutter fatigue, measuring 21 × 21 × 12.9 mm with lens mount and electronics boards, and weighing 10 g. It withstands high levels of vibration or g-shock for handheld thermal imagers, thermal weapon sights, high integration surveillance, and small drone applications.More products
