Sapera^™ Vision Software Edition 2023-03 from Teledyne DALSA provides image acquisition, control, processing, and artificial intelligence (AI) functions to design, develop, and deploy high-performance machine vision applications.

Upgrades include enhancements to the Astrocyte^™ 1.40 AI training graphical tool, the Sapera Processing 9.40 AI libraries tool, and image processing. Automatic hyperparameter tuning enables the training of AI models without the need to learn complex parameters. Shaped regions of interest and masks improve accuracy and speed at training, validation, and inference steps by using graphical shapes like rectangles, circles, tori, polygons, and brushes for focus.
