McCulloch Appointed Business Development Manager at ULO Optics

Jul 2017STEVENAGE, England, Aug. 4, 2017 — IR optics manufacturer ULO Optics Ltd. has appointed Stuart McCulloch as its business development manager.

In this role, McCulloch will oversee the expansion of ULO products into the 1-µm, fiber laser-compatible arena. He joins ULO with over nine years of experience in the fiber laser field, most recently having held positions at the fiber laser manufacturer SPI Lasers PLC, working across both the product management and business development units. McCulooch also spent a number of years working for laser integrator Thinklaser Ltd.

“For over 30 years, ULO has been known for their expertise in CO₂ optics and have manufactured many specialized optics for use with fiber lasers,” said John Barton, managing director of ULO. “Stuart’s appointment will expand our skill base, ensuring we are structured to offer the highest standards of customer service, which is particularly important as we continue the drive to maximize production of our full range of standard and customized 1-µm products.”

ULP is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of CO₂ laser optics and mid-IR optics for thermal imaging and sensing.More news & features
