Photonics Buyers' Guide320-nm DPSS LaserUniklasers Ltd. is expanding its CW single-frequency DPSS laser series toward the UV with a 320-nm model, the Duetto 320-xxx with output power levels up to 250 mW.

The laser can replace bulky and inefficient helium cadmium lasers, and do not require additional cooling mechanisms. The lasers offer beam quality with an M2 <1.1, a beam divergence <0.5 mrad, very low intensity noise below 0.1 percent and an output power stability of ±1 percent (over 4 hours). Standard range models from 10 to 150 mW output power, with higher power models up to 250 mW are available on request.
