Photonics MarketplaceNIR CW DPSS SLM LasersThe UniKLasers range of NIR continuous wave DPSS lasers covers 5 wavelengths at 720, 780, 813,1064, 1125 nm, with powers ranging up to 3W. Using proprietary patent protected BRaMMS technology all 7 wavelengths have similar characteristics and specifications.

The are all naturally single frequency with line widths measured below 500 kHz and coherence lengths well in excess of 100m, they all have high spectral purity and wavelength stability in the order of a few picometers measured over many hours. This is due toa feedback loop that controls the cavity performance maintaining its low drift and eliminating mode-hop. This feedback system can be augmented by a tuning option that allows a voltage to be entered that shifts the wavelength by 20-50 GHz, but can also be used to stabilize the output even further, by using an external reference such as an interferometry or gas absorption cell. This reduces the wavelength drift to the instability level of the reference.

Due to the high conversion efficiency, available powers are typically higher than competitive technologies and the heat management demand is consequently low.

The range is ideal for such applications as Raman spectroscopy, metrology, optical manipulation and quantum technology.
