Since our founding in 1997, UTFL has manufactured standard and custom thin-film coatings for commercial and military applications from the ultraviolet to the far-infrared wavelengths. UTFLs engineers and technicians are experts in producing the most demanding optical thin-film coatings available.

universal thin film labUTFL currently occupies a 6500 sq ft lab with six coating chambers. Each chamber is dedicated to specific types of precision optical coatings to allow for fast turnarounds. UTFL employs the latest technology to produce a wide variety of the most advanced coatings on the market today.
