  • Yelo Laser Burn-In and Life-Test System: Qualification systems provide a modular tightly controlled environment in which to Burn-In and Life-Test photonics components such as laser diodes, VCSELs, Chip-on-Carrier, TO56, multi-edge emitters, transceivers, transmitter modules and more. Available in both high- and low-power options.
  • LIV Test Instrument: The Yelo LIV test instrument allows LIV measurements to be taken from laser devices loaded into a Yelo module. This module can also be used with the Yelo Y1000L Low Power Burn-in system. The LIV test instrument has been designed for easy operation. Once powered on, and with laser supply enabled, the touch screen can be used to initiate, monitor and review measurements of laser devices.
  • Yelo Testpoint Low Cost Automated Functional Test System: Automated Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment combines traditional bed of nails test fixture with In-Circuit testing and functional testing on a single benchtop station. Highly versatile and cost effective, Yelo Testpoint is used for a wide range of testing on boards, subassemblies and final products.

Yelo Ltd. was founded in 1983, known then as System Solutions. The company has also operated under Mindready and Averna Ltd. The company became Yelo Ltd. in February 2010.

Yelo specializes in the design and manufacture of burn-in and life test equipment for optoelectronic devices. With an experienced team of 50, Yelo has grown to become one of the industry’s leading and most trusted names for burn-in equipment. The company is vertically integrated and possesses full design and manufacturing capabilities. One of Yelo’s biggest strengths is its in-house mechanical design capability which looks after device fixturing and probing for many different types of devices (bare chip, laser bar, chip on carrier, chip on substrate and packaged devices). Another key strength is its Research and Development division which provides solutions for complex issues such as thermal management. By having early discussions in the design phase of a new photonics device, Yelo can advise a suitable approach needed to enable safe, repeatable device testing.
