BAE Systems wholly owns Fairchild Imaging, a designer and manufacturer of low-light, sCMOS, and x-ray sensor designs. We specialize in design, development, and manufacture of high-performance image sensors for defense, security and surveillance, space, scientific; medical, dental, veterinary x-ray; industrial, and pro-video markets.

Designs and manufactures IR detectors for the 0.5 to 24 micron range. Products include InGaAs, Ext-InGaAs, InAs, InSb, PC&PV HgCdTe detectors, linear and 2D arrays with a wide range of detector cooling options for defense, security/safety, chemical and biological detection, semiconductor inspection, life science, and spectroscopy markets.

Importer and distributor of photonics components and subsystems for use in instrumentation. Products include photomultiplier tubes, solid-state photodetectors, IR detectors, image sensors, scientific cameras, light sources, and x-ray solutions.

Develops, calibrates, and markets a complete line of laser and LED measurement products, including laser power/energy meters, beam profilers measuring femtowatt to hundred-kilowatt lasers, high-performance IR and visible optical elements, IR thermal imaging lenses and zoom lenses for defense and commercial applications.

Manufacturer of InGaAs sensors. Offers SWIR image sensors and linear sensors, PIN photodiodes and APDs with a wavelength of 900 to 1700 nm. We offer visible and extended wavelength InGaAs products for the applications of power monitoring, imaging, semiconductor inspection, spectrometer, sorting, HSI, and remote sensing.
