From precision high accuracy retro-reflectors to high volume bandpass filters, Newport's Corion Filters and Replicated Mirrors provide the full spectrum of solutions for managing light.

Choosing from several different coating technologies that we have developed and perfected over many years, we manufacture optical filters of all types using the technology that is best suited for the intended application. We cover the spectrum from 200 nm in the ultraviolet to 8 um in the infrared. We make both single-substrate, all-dielectric, hard coated filters, and complex, multi-element laminated filters. Our ability to make laminated products enables us to create solutions for applications where extreme blocking and stray-light management make single-substrate filters less than optimal. Products include bandpass, dichroic, edge, fluorescence, neutral density, and notch filters.

In addition to providing individual filters, we provide filter-based assemblies ranging from relatively simple filter wheels for OEM instruments to optoelectronic devices incorporating filters and electronics to form plug-and-play devices for instruments ranging from high-speed clinical chemistry analyzers to home-use UV-disinfection devices. Our replication technology enables us to produce high-volume replicated mirrors with many desirable features not available from glass optics. Replication delivers unmatched repeatability for volume manufacturing of mirrors as each mirror is an exact copy of the master from which it is made. The monolithic nature of replicated mirrors eliminates temperature stability concerns that can result when using glass optics in metal holders. We design and incorporate mounting features in our replicated mirrors and possibilities for unique shapes and geometries are nearly unlimited allowing instrument designers to place mirrors in locations within instruments where use of traditional mounting would not be feasible. Products include retroreflector, aspherical, plano, and spherical mirrors.
