Oriel Instruments (part of Newport Corp.) has upgraded its TLS series of fully integrated tunable light sources with a new power supply that supports optional light intensity control.

The light source produces monochromatic light from the UV to near-infrared. It is available with xenon or QTH lamps, and USB or RS232/GPIB computer interfaces. A motorized filter wheel with four order sorting filters and TracQ software for PC-based system command and data acquisition are also part of the standard system.
