Jun 2013WILMINGTON, Mass., June 9, 2013 — Xenon Corp. has announced the LH-8150, a 60-in. pulsed UV linear lamp system for industrial applications, including large-area UV curing and sintering in roll-to-roll or web-based processes for the display and printed electronics markets.
The device has two 30-in. L-shaped lamps and an elliptical reflector. It includes proprietary CoolCureXL pulsed light for low-temperature curing and features patented DoubleStrike technology. The system typically provides pulsed energy of 38.8 joules per pulse at a 100-Hz rate, making it a 3.9-kW solution for display applications.
The company says that, compared to mercury-based alternatives, the system generates less heat, has a faster turn-on time and delivers higher peak energy, ensuring deeper penetration and complete cures.
