Photonics MarketplacePPD's Beam Splitter CubesAdhesive-free, precision beam splitter cubes from Perkins Precision Developments are available for high-power laser applications from 355 to 2000 nm in sizes from 3 × 3 mm to 15 × 15 mm. Our epoxy-free optical assembly process is an alternative to existing epoxy-based techniques for photonics applications where outgassing and laser damage thresholds are primary concerns. In-house ion-beam-sputtering (IBS) coating capability and advanced manufacturing allow us to offer precision polarizing and non-polarizing prism assemblies with high transmission, high extinction ratio and λ/10 wavefront quality.

As with all of our precision laser optics and optical assemblies, PPD's laser-line and broadband beam splitters exhibit both low absorption and high damage thresholds (20J!), making them ideal for use with high energy Nd:YAG and fibers lasers as well as other high-power pulsed and CW laser systems. Because we utilize IBS coating technology, our beam splitter assemblies are environmentally stable; there is no spectral shift caused by either time, moisture or temperature.
