Cobolt Opens First US Sales Office

Mar 2013STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 14, 2013 — Diode-pumped solid-state laser provider Cobolt AB has opened its first US sales office in the San Francisco Bay area and will begin serving customers March 25.
The opening of Cobolt Inc. follows seven years of collaboration with Market Tech Inc. as the company’s exclusive US distributor and was motivated by increasing OEM business and sales of customized solutions in the US.
The company will be managed by Phillip Amaya, who has held positions at Newport, DSL, Piccarro and Arbor Photonics.
