OXFORD, Mass., Sept. 1, 2017 —

Fiber laser and amplifier provider IPG Photonics Corp. has entered into an agreement with metalworking and metal fabrication machine manufacturer MC Machinery Systems Inc. (MCM) to promote its growing portfolio of industrial laser systems for materials processing applications.

“MCM's wealth of experience and industry knowledge makes them a key addition to IPG's sales network,” said Trevor Ness, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for IPG. “Increasing customer demand led us to look for an addition to our team who fits with our tradition of innovation and exceptional service and we are very fortunate to attract someone of MCM's caliber to fulfill this role. I'm confident MCM will play a key role in providing and implementing high-quality laser based system solutions for their clients, and their customer base will enjoy the benefits of this partnership immediately.”

MCM, part of Mitsubishi Corp., develops laser cutting, waterjet, electrical discharge machining, milling and press brake machines.

“I am pleased to announce our partnership with IPG in the sales and service of their new Multi-Axis Fiber Laser system, which provides a competitive product solution for a wide range of product sizes and applications,” said Bill Isaac, senior vice president of sales and marketing at MCM. “We feel IPG's strong reputation and proven record of success aligns well with the core values of MC Machinery and will be an asset to our customers in the markets we serve.”
