Oct 2013Iridian Spectral Technologies Ltd. has enhanced its line of optical filters with 405-nm laser line and long-pass filters that enable users to see more signal with less background in applications including machine vision, high-resolution printing, metrology, fluorescence and spectroscopy.
The laser line filter offers a narrow bandwidth (~2 nm full width half maximum), high transmittance, steep roll-off and wide blocking (300 to 1200 nm), reducing spectral noise without compromising transmittance. The user can view Raman modes, fluorescence or desired signal, while blocking the laser line with the long-pass filter, which offers a steep edge, high transmittance, low ripple in the passband and deep blocking (>OD 6).
