Raluca Borlan is in the final year of her doctoral studies in the Faculty of Physics at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her ongoing research interest is focused on the development and characterization of organic nanoparticles loaded with near-infrared fluorophores as contrast agents for real-time image-guided cancer surgery.
