The optical dome consists of two parallel optical surfaces (convex and concave). In general, we can control the parallel tolerance by ±2 µm. A perfectly parallel surface (in imaging) the image is not distorted, (in the measurement of light) the light is not distorted. BRD’s optical dome has unique optical properties and is made using optical polishing technology.
