University of Strathclyde

The Institute of Photonics is a commercially-oriented research unit formed in 1995 as part of the University of Strathclyde. We work across a broad range of photonic source development including: solid-state lasers, VECSELS, micro-LED arrays, semiconductor materials, growth and devices, photonic applications, biophotonics, and semiconductor processing.
