Linnik interference microscope

A Michelson-type interference microscope used to produce interference patterns of reflective specimens through the interference between light reflected by the specimen and that reflected by a polished plate with comparable reflectivity. The microscope has its beamsplitter positioned in such a way that it splits the illumination beam before it reaches the objective system.
