Munsell color system

Founded by professor Albert Munsell. In the field of colorimetry, the Munsell color system is a color space that identifies a given color based on three different color measurements. These measurements are identified as: hue, value (lightness), and chroma (color purity). The specifics of these color values have been organized and documented in what's known as the Munsell Book Of Color (see Munsell Book Of Color).
