microenvironmental control system

Equipment that supports microscopic live-cell imaging by managing the gas, media perfusion, temperature and other factors to which a sample is exposed. While reducing the negative impacts these factors can have on optical quality, the system also fosters the environment in which a specimen normally lives and allows for the observation of changes to it through the introduction of variables.
