computer-generated holographic scanner

A phase reflection scanner that eliminates the need for a complex translation device while maintaining a high-energy-density level during laser materials processing. These devices direct and focus the beam of a CO2 laser on the workpiece and translate this spot over some general two-dimensional pattern as the scanner undergoes a single one-dimensional motion.
