multicolor hologram

A hologram formed by reconstruction of multicolor wavefronts. The system used to produce the hologram is designed to combine the different colored wavefronts of the separate illuminating sources, and to split the resultant beam into a reference beam and object beam which interfere and expose the photographic medium. When subsequently illuminated by a beam matching the color of the reference beam, the hologram is exposed to a reconstructed wavefront that closely approximates the wavefront formed when the object is illuminated by white light.
