opaque projector

An opaque projector is a device used for enlarging and projecting images from opaque objects such as printed pages, photographs, or three-dimensional objects onto a screen or surface. Unlike a transparency projector that uses transparent slides, an opaque projector works with solid, non-transparent materials.

Opaque projectors have been widely used in educational settings, art studios, and business environments for various purposes.

While opaque projectors were popular in the past, advancements in technology, such as digital projectors and document cameras, have provided alternative and more versatile means of achieving similar goals in modern settings.
