ophthalmic photography

The methods and techniques used to obtain medical photographs of the human eye. To photograph the exterior of the eye, conventional still photographic equipment and procedures are used. Similarly, in recording the eye movements that can be seen from the exterior, regular cinematographic techniques are applicable. However, when pictures of the interior are required, a specially adapted eye test apparatus must be used.
