About this Event

Even though the Annual Meeting is known for a "small meeting" feel, it has nearly 6,500 attendees scheduled, and begins with a Saturday subgroup symposia, which allows people the chance to meet with their own scientific community. Such vitality is shown through their more than 900 interactive daily poster presentations and more than 500 speakers are selected from submitted abstracts.

The 2020 BPS Lecturer at the Biophysical Society 64th Annual Meeting will be Xiaoliang Sunney Xie, Lee Shau-kee Professor at Peking University and Director of Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Center (BIOPIC). The lecture will take place on Monday, February 17, at 8 pm, and is titled: From Single Molecule Biophysics to Single Cell Genomics: When Stochasticity Meets Precision.
