About this Event
This meeting is a forum in which the latest techniques, technologies, and research into monitoring and controlling the generation of energy and its impact on the environmental are presented. Among the topics to be covered are optical methods and tools used in manufacturing, measuring, and monitoring of energy generation equipment such as solar cells, LED lighting, concentrators, wind turbines, etc.; optical monitoring equipment to examine pollution generation and remediation; and optical sensing for energy management such as optical fiber strain gauges, optical thermal detection sensors, optical motion sensors etc. Optical technologies also play a substantial role in heat loss management both in the home as well as industrial settings. These topics will be explored in depth in this meeting.
