The SENSOR & TEST Conferences (SENSOR 2011, OPTO 2011 and IRS² 2011) will run in parallel to the exhibition and enrich the event with scientific facts and prognoses for the future of this industry. Under this umbrella, the three international conferences, SENSOR, OPTO, and IRS², provide a comprehensive overview of the state of the art in scientific research and development in the fields of sensor, measuring, and testing technology. Besides these conventional presentation modes, a “Demonstrator Village” will be set up for the first time to allow hands-on presentations.
