The International Biophotonics and Imaging Graduate Summer School (BIGSS) 2012

The International Biophotonics and Imaging Graduate Summer School (BIGSS) is a 5 ECTS credit course run every two years in partnership with Photonics 4 Life and SPIE as an intimate gathering located in the rugged landscape of west coast of Ireland. 

This year, the speakers will cover modules such as: Optical Coherence Tomography; High Frequency Ultrasound; Photoacoustic Spectroscopy and Tomography; Fluorescence Molecular Imaging; Quantitative Phase Imaging of Cells and Tissues; Non-linear Photonics, Lasers and Optical Information Processing; Optical Techniques for Diagnosis and Guidance of Therapy; and Photodynamic therapy (PDT).
 
As always we have a special emphasis on Commercializing Your Research and are delighted to announce that this year’s tutorial will be led by Hugh Cormican (CEO of Cirdan Imaging and former CEO/co-founder of Andor).
