NATICK, Mass., June 10, 2013 — Cognex Corp.’s new Cognex Industrial Camera (CIC) series of GigE Vision digital industrial cameras is designed for integration with VisionPro and CVL vision software. The 29 x 29-mm, monochrome cameras are suited for machine vision applications.
Integration with VisionPro software provides access to a comprehensive library of patented computer vision tools, from geometric object location and inspection to identification and measurement algorithms. The software incorporates a PC-based development interface.
The VGA CIC-300 delivers 640 x 480-pixel resolution at 120 fps and features a CCD sensor and global shutter; the 2-megapixel CIC-2000 delivers 1628 x 1236-pixel resolution at 20 fps and features a CCD sensor and global shutter; the 4-megapixel CIC-4000 delivers 2048 x 2048-pixel resolution at 25 fps and features a CMOS sensor and global shutter; and the 5-megapixel CIC-5000R delivers 2592 x 1944-pixel resolution at 14 fps and features a CMOS sensor and rolling shutter.
