Workshops include but are not limited to Integration of optical devices for SDM transmission, Technologies for Short Reach Optical Interconnects, and Architectures and control for elastic optical networks. Speakers include but are limited to Dr. Tim Whitley (Managing Director, Research and Innovation, BT, UK); Dr. Peter Stassar (Technical Director Optical Research, Huawei Technologies, The Netherlands); and Dr. Matthew Postgate (Senior Technology Executive, BBC). There will also be a photonics research showcase and a special symposia.
