Manufacturer of custom blanks. Products include fused quartz and silica, optical and filter glasses, and low/ultralow expansion glasses. Capabilities include annealing, slumping, sawing, grinding, edging, drilling, waterjet cutting, and CNC shaping and generating.

Designs and manufactures thin-film optical coatings for both visible and IR applications. AOC specializes in high-layer-count coatings associated with laser protection optics. PG&O provides reliable, cost-effective, precision optics and commercial components from 0.040 in. to 30 in. diam., highly precise thin-film coatings, custom and standard components and turnkey optical solutions that operate from 0.2 to 15 microns. Delivering highly durable sapphire optics for broad-spectrum apps and finished IR optics for mission-critical tasks.

Manufacturer of precision optical components (UV to mid-IR). Prisms, windows, filters, wedges, mirrors, beamsplitters, and all types of singlet, doublet, and triplet lenses. Electron and ion-assisted deposition coating services. Prototype production and OEM assemblies include design and manufacture of single- and multi-element systems.

Manufacture and research of high performance dyes. Our expertise includes narrow-band visible and infrared absorber dyes for optical filters, as well as fluorescent, and the closely-related laser dyes. Since early 2017 Exciton has been part of Luxottica, a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear.

Manufacturer of precision optical components and thin-film coatings in prototype and volume quantities. Products include lenses and lens systems (cylindrical, spherical), GRMs, etalons, beamsplitters, laser windows and mirrors, for work in the UV, VIS, NIR, and far-IR spectral regions. Manufacturer of dichroic glass polarizers for the UV, VIS, NIR, and MIR spectral range. Also produces patterned polarizers that have arbitrary shaped areas with different directions of polarization.

MKS/Newport designs and manufactures high performance optical filters and replicated mirrors in the UV, VIS, and NIR. Filters include bandpass, dichroic, edge, fluorescence, neutral density, and notch filters, as well as optomechanical and electro-optical assemblies based on filter technology. Mirrors include retroreflector, aspheric, and spherical.

Produces custom, high-damage threshold, long lifetime laser optics including mirrors, polarizers, beamsplitters, and windows. Specializes in coatings from 193 nm to 2 microns. Materials include CaF2, MgF2, FS, and BK7. Supplier to linear accelerators using ultrafast, excimer, and solid-state laser systems worldwide.
