Inrad Optics is a vertically integrated manufacturer specializing in glass, crystal, and metal based optical components and assemblies. Manufacturing capabilities include precision optical surfacing, precision diamond turning, large substrate handling, optical contacting processes, thin film coatings, and high resolution in-process metrology.

Precision optical filters since 1969, from UV to NIR. We specialize in custom filters from prototype to OEM quantities. Fluorescence, astronomy, and overrun filters in stock. Designs and manufactures IR detectors for the 0.5 to 24 micron range. Products include InGaAs, Ext-InGaAs, InAs, InSb, PC&PV HgCdTe detectors, linear and 2D arrays with a wide range of detector cooling options for defense, security/safety, chemical and biological detection, semiconductor inspection, life science, and spectroscopy markets.
