Deposition Sciences, Inc. (DSI) produces a wide variety of highly durable and heat-resistant optical coatings. Our technologies and customer deposition chambers offer coatings in the visible (VIS) near-infrared (NIR), shortwave infrared (SWIR), and midwave infrared (MWIR) spectral wavelengths. Founded in 1957, RMI designs and manufactures precision optics and coatings. Our technical expertise include laser optics from DUV to Far IR; IR optics including high output diamond turning; and custom optical assemblies. We have proven experience in solutions for aerospace/defense, life science, medical, semiconductor, industrial, and research markets.

Manufacturer of laser-quality precision optical assemblies and components (VUV to IR) including prisms, mirrors, windows, retroreflectors, filters, plate-type beamsplitters, alignment cubes, polarizing and nonpolarizing cube beamsplitters, and coatings. ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Precision optical glass: strip, blanks, pressings, polished balls, near-UV transmitting i-Line glass, ceramic substrates, CaF2, UV/IR materials, quartz, fused silica (standard/excimer grade), Nanoceram. Ohara CCZ ultralow expansion (excellent CTE uniformity, blank form, to 1.8 m diam). Double-side polished substrates (low surface roughness, excellent flatness).

Manufacturer of precision optical components and high-power laser coatings from UV to IR. Stock and custom optics: lenses, beamsplitters, filters, windows, mirrors, wave plates, large wedges, prisms, and many more. In-house custom coatings: AR, high reflection, dichroic, and polarizing. Optics from 4 mm to 16 inches.
