Manufactures a wide range of IR sources or lamps primarily for the OEM market. Products include pulsable sources utilizing tungsten and Nichrome (NiCr) and steady-state sources utilizing Kanthal and NiCr filaments. All are constructed in industry standard TO-39, TO-8, and TO-3 size packages with gold-plated parabolic reflectors.

Supplies quantum cascade tunable IR lasers (3.3 to 17+ microns); UV and IR detectors; single-photon counting electronics and systems for single-molecule detection, FLIM, spectroscopy, diffuse optical tomography and laser radar. Photodetectors provide high-energy particle, electron, x-ray, and UV detection; plus excellent mid-IR sensitivity to discriminate gases, detect heat, sparks, and flames.

Expertise in photonic laser, spectrometer, and chemometric technologies producing mobile spectroscopy and laser instrumentation. Mobile spectroscopy business includes a full line of portable Raman and hand-held Raman systems, building block spectrometer and laser components for system integrators, and customized solutions.

Develops integrated imaging solutions to enable automated visual inspection and measurement of light, color, and surfaces. Scientific-grade imaging colorimeters are used for production-quality inspection and R&D testing of displays, backlit components, LEDs, and other light sources, as well as overall manufacturing integrity.
