Standard and custom photodetectors and high-quality VIS and IR LEDs. Our advanced performance sensors operate from the extreme ultraviolet (UV) to the mid-infrared (mid-IR). Photodetectors provide high-energy particle, electron, x-ray, and UV detection; plus excellent mid-IR sensitivity to discriminate gases, detect heat, sparks, and flames.

Develops and manufactures high-power diode laser components and materials (photon generation), laser optics (photon control), photonic application modules, assemblies, and subsystems (photonics application solutions) with a focus on automotive, pan-semiconductor, and medical and health application solutions.

Manufactures standard and custom polarization control components and systems including polarizers, retarders, LC devices, Pockels cells, polarimeters, and SLMs. Applications are in optogenetics, aerospace, defense, medical imaging and analysis, data storage, polarimetry, semiconductor inspection and processing, astronomy, and more.

CoolLED designs and manufactures LED illumination systems for researchers and clinicians. Range of LED wavelengths; single wavelength stand-alone sources to multiwavelength automated systems and LED illumination for Fura-2 ratiometric calcium imaging available. Systems are intense, stable, controllable, fast-switching, and cost-effective.

Frankfurt Laser Company develops, produces, and distributes FP, DFB, and DBR laser diodes, laser diode arrays, VCSELs, and QCLs. Products include free-space, fiber-coupled, mid-IR, and superluminescent laser diode modules. Power range is 266 nm to 16 microns and 1 mW to 3000 W.

Develops integrated imaging solutions to enable automated visual inspection and measurement of light, color, and surfaces. Scientific-grade imaging colorimeters are used for production-quality inspection and R&D testing of displays, backlit components, LEDs, and other light sources, as well as overall manufacturing integrity.
