A High-Speed GigE Vision Machine Vision Camera Ecosystem - Emergent Vision Technologies

As customer needs grow and businesses look for ways to maintain or increase throughput, enhance efficiency, and drive revenue, industrial automation technologies become increasingly important. High-speed inspections, for example, require machine vision cameras capable of handling the necessary speed and data rates with high reliability and performance. This on-demand presentation looks at Emergent Vision Technologies’ high-speed ecosystem of machine vision cameras and components, which includes 10GigE cameras, 25GigE cameras, 100GigE cameras, comprehensive software, and network interface cards. The presentation also takes an in-depth look at the UDP-based GigE Vision Stream Protocol (GVSP) and how it compares to remote direct memory access (RDMA), RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), and transmission control protocol (TCP). Additionally, the presentation covers the adoption of 10GigE and beyond while showcasing new high-speed imaging demonstrations featuring 24- and 48-camera setups using eCapture Pro software and GPUDirect, along with several helpful animations that provide additional context to our technology. It also covers camera multicasting, a machine vision interface standards comparison, and various processing technologies, such as GPUDirect, NVIDIA GPUs, FPGAs, and Emergent’s award-winning software and proprietary NICs, which are available in 10GigE, 25GigE, and 100GigE formats.
