Optics Manufacturers Rebound after Fires It's one light source this industry would rather not deal with. Fire has affected four Northeast optics manufacturers in recent years, destroying inventory, machines and even entire buildings. Luckily no one was hurt. In the time since the fires, each of the companies has bounced back – and they have each other to thank. When disaster strikes, optics manufacturers band together to make sure their colleagues stay in business and that every last order gets filled.
