A Videology Zoom Block camera is a small packed camera, typically with a 2 MP image sensor, a high quality optical auto-focusing lens system that has 10x, 20x, 30x, 40x or 55x autofocus, and a built-in video processing pipeline.

In 2022, our engineering team designed the 42x42mm SCAiLX SoM board, built on an NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor. Additionally, an interface board that converts the digital video information available on the LVDS video port of the Videology Zoom Block camera to MIPI CSI-2 (LVDS-2-MIPI), interfacing the SCAiLX SoM board.

Together with an Ethernet networking board with appropriate power management and a Videology 10x Zoom Block Camera with LVDS output, this stack forms our SCAILX-ZB product line. Turning our 10x Zoom Block Camera into a small and powerful AI engine.
