Our IR blocker coatings are deposited on quartz glass substrates and selectively filter ultra-violet energy from the source, while blocking unwanted visible and infra-red energy. IR blockers are placed in front of a UV lamp source and function as a hot mirror, thus keeping the UV system cool by protecting heat-sensitive materials, lamps and reflectors from ink evaporants.
