The FastImageIR can acquire a data cube of 4096 full-range IR spectra at 8 cm-1 in <10 s. This FTIR spectrochemical imaging system from Digilab includes the UMA 600 microscope for imaging and single-point analysis, the Lancer focal plane array detector and the Excalibur rapid-scan spectrometer. It can be used for kinetic processes, to analyze large samples and to determine spectral, spatial and time information. The company says the FastImageIR improves the amount of data collected with 5-µm spatial resolution.
