LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Oct. 24, 2013 — The IQ7 laser speckle reducer from Power Technology Inc. reduces local interference and unwanted intensity patterns to improve laser imaging quality in machine vision applications such as beam homogenization, 3-D scanning, metrology, microscopy and interferometry.

The device diffuses the laser’s coherent beam to reduce speckle and offers 1°, 10° and 20° emission angles. It is available in digital or analog modulation in wavelengths from 405 to 808 nm. Custom versions are also available.
